Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

• The federal school code for UAT is 017188
• Apply online with “FAFSA on the Web” at www.fafsa.ed.gov or contact the Financial Aid office for a paper FAFSA.

Obtain and Complete a Student Data Form

• This document provides necessary data to complete your aid application with our university, and also notes vital information and disclosures acknowledged by your signature.
• Download, print and complete the SDF form. (To view and download the form, an Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. Download the free Reader software.)
• You may request an SDF from the Financial Aid Office to be mailed to you.
• Once your SDF is complete, sign it and mail or fax it to:

Receive Your Financial Aid Status

Federal Student Aid Programs will send an Institutional Student Information Report (ISIR) to the UAT financial aid office and a Student Aid Report (SAR) to your home address, indicating your eligibility for aid.

• Please review the document for accuracy, but don’t make changes without first consulting with your Financial Aid Counselor.
• Should changes be needed, we can perform them electronically from our office.
• We may also find it necessary to request additional documents, so be sure to respond quickly to any request for information you might receive from our office.
• Our office will use your application information to complete a package of aid to offer to you and will notify you via mail it to your home in the form of a Financial Aid Award Offer.
• Once we have received all of your application materials, you should expect to receive the Financial Aid Award Offer within 21-45 days.
